Who We Are

Allied Youth Empowerment Uganda is a non profit grass root registered community based organization incepted in 2015 with the aim of transforming the disadvantaged livelihoods of youth so as to give life to the community through direct advocacy and implementation on program activities that sustainably cause a meaningful change.

Aims & Objectives

a) To promote and enhance eradication of poverty in homes through Development Projects which can be manned by the youths thus encouraging their exploitation of talents and Skills.
b) To promote formal education of members which will put up a skilled force to execute professional port folios in our organization and in the long run contributing to a higher level of literacy in the community.
c) To promote and enhance health education, water and sanitation and HIV/AIDS counseling and awareness in a bid to contribute towards better health conditions in our community.

d) To promote food security and environment protection through modernization of Agriculture and sustainable management of natural resources.
e) To mobilize appropriate funds that shall be used to carry out charity work in our community, visit orphanages and donate to the disadvantaged citizens of Uganda and also empower the same financially with viable business ideas in a bid to boost their livelihood.
f) Promoting awareness among the youth of their core values, rights, obligations and relevance in organization;

Allied Youth Empowerment works towards helping the youth in a more realistic way than the former which have left youth even more vulnerable. THE YOUTH EMPOWERMENT PROJECT does not end at training youth in employable skills but we go ahead to outsource alternative employment for them after training.
We also bring the trained youth back to train others on voluntary basis and where possible, we seek employment for them in locally available technical workshops.
Where possible we have tried to start up Employable-Training projects which involves Employing the already trained as the new trainees are taught entrepreneurship skills, saving and re-investing so as to also employ others.
Another uniqueness we have is that we also partner with local workshops around to enhance training and entrepreneurship skills training besides others.
After training the youth in the required skills in Carpentry, joinery, mechanics,bakery,etc, we send them to an internship training where they meet actively participating people in production,and marketing to acquire the sustainable abilities and real ideas on how to start their own enterprises. Some end up being employed there and others use the little capital they have to invest and start up their own.Hence in this way, the youth are rendered self reliant.
